The winning entrants and participants of the Romeo Student Film Festival will be formally acknowledged at a planned RSFF screening night—early fall, after our move into new facility at 8100 Wicker in Washington (at the recently decommissioned fire station where the build out is currently in process). I'll keep the community posted with dates soon!

The Romeo Film Production Office has put together a Student Film Festival as a way to highlight the areas of Romeo, Washington and Bruce Townships as ideal places for the movie industry to shoot and produce films. These communities have a diverse array of locations, resources, with talented individuals.

Participants will be required to create a 3‐6 minute short film that prominently features one of the three local communities, and will have a shot at winning a $1000 Grand Prize. The film can be a narrative, a documentary, or even an animation.

This event is a great opportunity for students to gain experience and showcase what Romeo, Washington and Bruce have to offer.
